(Reuters) – A large low pressure system located less than 300 miles southeast of Cabo Verde Islands has a 90% chance of becoming a cyclone in the next 48 hours, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said on Monday.
“Tropical depression or a tropical storm is likely to form later tonight or early Tuesday while the low moves generally northwestward toward the Cabo Verde Islands,” the Miami-based weather forecaster said.
