A skydiver has died after falling onto someone’s front garden in Florida.
The 69-year-old parachutist was found on a resident’s property in Titusville, Florida, on Saturday afternoon.
The man, later identified as Frederick Morello, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Titusville Police Department.
Police said they believed Mr Morello, who was found wearing parachute attire and gear, was skydiving alone.
The Titusville Fire Department said early responders on the scene initially requested an emergency helicopter – but this was swiftly cancelled after the man was pronounced dead.
Local news station WKMG spoke to James Sconiers, who said he found the skydiver outside his home.
“I was asking the person that was laying on the ground, ‘Hey man can you hear me, can you hear me? You OK, man?’ But he did not answer,” he explained.
